The clients brief was simple, practical and timeless storage by maximising the given space to accommodate a growing family. We put in 2 double hangar with shelving storage meter wardrobes . Centred with a dresser and 2/3 height wardrobe on top, also measuring at 1 meter in width. The Client did not want the wardrobes to roof as it is a new house ( we had to allow for the house to settle by leaving a 50mm shadow gap above the tops of the carcasses). The colours for these units were a mix of farrow and ball elephants breath (no.229 ) and Cooks Blue (no.237).
Once again the brief for the walk in wardrobe was straight forward. Storage , storage , storage. The client preferred to see the styling of the cornice on these units and hoping to minimize the tightness of the room space we decided upon standard height units of 2.2 meter as opposed to the 2.4 units of the other bedrooms.
